Pacific Smile Dental was founded by three friends from UCSF who believed a dental visit could feel calm, transparent, and personal. Twenty years later, we're still writing that same story — just in more places.
Our story
We opened our first office above a bookstore in La Jolla with two chairs and one hygienist. The idea was simple: build a place where patients could ask any question without feeling small.
Today we care for tens of thousands of Californians across San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. We've added technology as it earns its place — 3D scanners, CBCT imaging, same-day crowns — but the chairside conversation is still the most important tool in the room.
We're proud that most new patients come to us through a referral from someone they trust.
